Origin
The Silky Terrier is originate developed in Australia,
in the late 1800's. These dog breeds was derived from the crossing of
imported Yorshire Terriers with the Australian Terrier. They were bred
as vermin hunter or herding, but they always be a good companion dog.
The breeds of dogs was recognized by the AKC in 1959 and with a
national breed standard was established in 1962.
Coat
The
Silky Terrier
is a toy
terrier, he is a small, silky, shinny and long coat. The body is longer
than it's tall, whose coat flows to the body. The coat colors comes
with blue and red, blue and tan or with red markings.
Silky puppy are born with black colors.
Training
The
Silky Terrier
is very
intelligent, he learns new commands quickly at an above average rate.
Training these dog is very straight forward as it is very eager to
learn. They respond best to praise, reward and with love.
The
training should begin early, teach the basic obedience and household
rules. Should train with fairness, firmness and consistency.

Grooming the silky thick coat may be difficult,
They should be combed or brushed with a soft bristle brush or curry
bomb daily to keep it looking wonderful. They need to be bathe often
and after bathe must remember keep it dry well.

dog clean.
